Authors of accepted submissions are invited to submit the final version of their full paper in accordance with the following formatting and publication guidelines.
Compliance with these requirements is essential to ensure consistency across all papers and their inclusion in the official Conference Proceedings.
1. General requirements
The final paper must:
- constitute an original academic work;
- be relevant to the themes and objectives of the Conference;
- have been carefully checked for language, grammar, spelling, and clarity;
- incorporate any necessary revisions resulting from the review process;
- not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere.
2. Paper length
The final paper must be between 2.500 and 8.000 words, including references, tables, figures, appendices, and any other supplementary material.
Authors are kindly requested not to exceed the specified word limit.
3. Language
All final papers must be written and submitted exclusively in English.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their paper has been thoroughly proofread and is written in clear, accurate, and academically appropriate English.
4. Paper structure
The final paper should normally include the following sections:
- Paper title
- Author names
- Author affiliations
- Author email addresses
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Theoretical framework or literature review
- Methodology
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- References
- Appendices, where applicable
The structure may be adapted according to the type, scope, and methodological approach of the paper.
5. Formatting requirements
The paper must be prepared exclusively using the official Conference template.
The main formatting requirements are:
- Page size: A4
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
- Font: Arial
- Main text font size: 11 pt
- Line spacing: 1.15
- Text alignment: justified
- Paragraph spacing: according to the official template
- Page numbering: page numbers must not be added
- Headings and indentation: according to the predefined styles of the official template
Authors must not modify the page size, margins, fonts, paragraph settings, or predefined styles of the template.
6. Paper title and author information
The title must be clear, concise, and representative of the content of the paper.
The following information must be provided for each author:
- full name;
- academic or professional position;
- institution or organisation;
- country;
- email address.
The corresponding author must be clearly identified.
7. Abstract and keywords
The abstract must not exceed 300 words and should briefly present:
- the aim of the study;
- the methodology;
- the main results;
- the principal conclusions.
Each paper must include three to five keywords.
Keywords should accurately represent the content of the paper and should not merely repeat the words used in the title.
8. Tables, figures, images, and diagrams
Tables, figures, images, graphs, and diagrams must:
- be inserted in the appropriate position within the paper;
- be clear and of sufficient resolution;
- be numbered consecutively;
- include a clear title or caption;
- be explicitly referred to in the main text;
- include the original source, where the material has not been created by the authors.
Authors are solely responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material included in their paper.
All visual material should remain clear and readable when the paper is published electronically.
9. References and citations
All in-text citations and the reference list must follow the APA 7th edition referencing style.
Every source cited in the main text must appear in the reference list, and every source included in the reference list must be cited in the paper.
Authors must carefully verify:
- author names;
- publication dates;
- titles of publications;
- journal, book, and publisher details;
- page numbers, where required;
- URLs;
- Digital Object Identifiers, also known as DOIs.
References should be complete, accurate, and consistently formatted.
10. Use of Artificial Intelligence tools
The use of Artificial Intelligence tools for language editing, translation, organisation, data processing, or writing support must be responsible and transparent.
Artificial Intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors of a paper.
Authors remain fully responsible for:
- the accuracy and validity of the content;
- the originality of the paper;
- the reliability of references and citations;
- the protection of personal, confidential, and research data;
- the avoidance of plagiarism, fabricated information, or misleading content;
- the verification of all content generated or modified with the support of Artificial Intelligence.
Where relevant, the use of Artificial Intelligence tools should be disclosed in an appropriate statement or in the methodology section of the paper.
11. Research ethics and personal data
Where a paper includes data involving students, educators, research participants, or other individuals, the authors must ensure:
- the anonymisation of personal data;
- the protection of participants’ identities;
- the lawful collection and processing of data;
- the existence of any required approvals, permissions, or informed consent;
- compliance with applicable ethical and data-protection requirements.
No information that could directly or indirectly identify participants should be included without appropriate permission.
12. File format and file name
The final paper must be submitted only as a Microsoft Word document in .docx format.
PDF files or other file formats will not be accepted.
The file name must follow the format below:
[Submission code]_[Corresponding author’s surname].docx
Example:
1-001_Papadopoulos.docx
The file name must not contain spaces, Greek characters, or special symbols.
13. Final submission checklist
Before submitting the final paper, authors must ensure that:
- the official Conference template has been used;
- the paper is written entirely in English;
- all author details are complete and accurate;
- the corresponding author has been clearly identified;
- all reviewer comments and required revisions have been addressed;
- the abstract and keywords have been included;
- all citations and references follow APA 7th edition;
- all tables and figures are numbered and cited in the text;
- all permissions for copyrighted material have been obtained;
- comments, annotations, and tracked changes have been removed;
- page numbers have not been added;
- the correct and final version of the paper has been uploaded;
- the file has been saved in .docx format.
14. Review and publication
Submission of the final paper does not automatically guarantee publication in the Conference Proceedings.
The Scientific and Organising Committees reserve the right to:
- request additional corrections or revisions;
- return papers that do not comply with the formatting guidelines;
- reject papers containing serious academic, ethical, linguistic, or formatting deficiencies;
- exclude papers that do not meet the publication requirements.
The authors retain full responsibility for the content of their paper, the accuracy of the information provided, the quality of the language, the validity of the research, and compliance with academic and research ethics.
