The METANUS Education, Innovation and Development Group announces the extension of the abstract submission deadline until 15 October 2026 for the 1st METANUS International Scientific Conference, which will take place in Heraklion, Crete, from 24 to 29 November 2026.
The central theme of the Conference is:
“Fractal Pedagogy: Recursive Learning Architectures, Ethical Issues and Teachers’ Psychological Resilience in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”
The Conference aims to provide an international forum for scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange on the major transformations currently taking place in education. At its core are the evolution of pedagogical theory, the integration of Artificial Intelligence, the ethical and social implications of technology, and teachers’ psychological resilience within an ever-changing educational environment.
The scientific programme covers a broad range of thematic areas, from Fractal Pedagogy and Learning Theories to Artificial Intelligence and Education, Ethics, Deontology and Digital Responsibility, Psychological Resilience, Innovative Teaching Practices and Educational Scenarios, Educational Leadership, Policies and Innovation, European and Innovative Educational Programmes, as well as Inclusive Policies and Equal Access.
The call for participation is addressed to researchers, academics, educators at all levels, educational leaders and administrators, doctoral candidates, postgraduate and undergraduate students, adult educators, as well as professionals and organisations active in the fields of education, technology, innovation and social intervention.
Presentations may be delivered in person, online, or in pre-recorded format, providing broader opportunities for participation from Greece and abroad.
The online sessions of the Conference will take place from 24 to 26 November 2026, while the in-person presentations will be held from 27 to 29 November 2026 at the Atrion Hotel and the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce.
The full papers that receive a positive evaluation and are accepted will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an official ISSN, while each published paper will be assigned a unique DOI.
With the new deadline of 15 October 2026, METANUS invites the scientific and educational community to take advantage of the extension and submit their proposals, actively contributing to a dialogue that brings together pedagogy, innovation, Artificial Intelligence and the human dimension of education.
