Nikolaos Chourdakis is an Information Technology specialist, holder of a Master’s Degree from the Technical University of Crete and a graduate of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Crete. He has extensive teaching and academic experience in higher education, having taught for several years as an Academic Fellow and Laboratory Associate at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, formerly the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, in subject areas related to Information Technology. He also served for four years as Academic Coordinator of the School of Informatics at Metropolitan College in Heraklion.
He has supervised undergraduate theses and student internships, while his research activity includes participation in national and European research projects, as well as publications in international scientific journals and conferences. His research interests focus on information systems, databases, educational software development, text analysis and clustering, and the use of digital technologies in education. He is also a certified Adult Educator and has taught in numerous educational programmes.
